Clear planning, not a promise.
These terms explain the rules for using Siegel Financial as an educational personal finance planning dashboard.
Last updated: July 18, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using Siegel Financial, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Educational tool only
Siegel Financial is an educational planning tool, not financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance, legal, or retirement advice.
The app helps you organize information, estimate possible outcomes, and understand tradeoffs. It does not recommend that you buy, sell, hold, borrow, refinance, insure, or otherwise act on any specific product, account, security, strategy, or transaction.
3. No adviser or client relationship
Using the app, sending a question, receiving an email, or contacting Adam Siegel does not by itself create an investment-advisory, financial-planning, fiduciary, attorney-client, tax-advisory, or other professional relationship. Any professional engagement requires a separate written agreement that explains the services, responsibilities, and applicable disclosures.
4. Projections and calculations
Any projections, benchmarks, charts, scores, estimates, or summaries are based on the information you enter and assumptions used by the app. Real life will differ. Markets, taxes, inflation, income, expenses, laws, interest rates, insurance needs, family events, and behavior can all change outcomes.
You are responsible for checking your inputs and deciding whether assumptions are reasonable for your situation.
5. Your responsibilities
- Enter accurate information if you want useful outputs.
- Enter institution credentials only inside the Plaid Link experience opened from the Connected tab and payment details only on Stripe-hosted checkout. Do not put credentials, Social Security numbers, tax IDs, full account numbers, or payment card numbers in plan fields, notes, or support messages.
- Keep your account password secure and sign out on shared devices.
- Export backups if you want an independent copy of your plan.
- Use the app lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or abuse the service.
- Report security concerns responsibly through the Security page.
6. Accounts, connected data, sync, and emails
You may use core planning tools locally without creating an account. A signed-in account enables private cloud sync and optional emails. Eligible users may choose to connect supported institutions through Plaid. Connected access is read-only: Siegel Financial cannot move money, initiate transfers, or place trades. Institution coverage, consent requirements, refresh timing, and available data vary, and connected information may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.
You may disconnect an institution or delete your account using the controls provided. Account deletion requests removal of the login, cloud plan, connected data, and billing profile. Some limited security, operational, payment, or legal records may remain with service providers under their retention obligations.
7. Premium membership
Premium prices, billing intervals, and any preview period are shown before checkout. The 14-day product preview does not require a card. Selecting a paid plan starts the paid membership through Stripe Checkout. Subscriptions renew according to the interval shown at checkout until canceled. Billing and cancellation controls are available through Stripe's customer portal.
8. Availability and changes
The app may be changed, improved, interrupted, or discontinued. Features may change as the product develops. The app is provided as-is and as-available.
9. Intellectual property
The Siegel Financial name, interface, content, design, graphics, calculations, and software are owned by or licensed to Siegel Financial or its creator, except for third-party services, libraries, or assets that remain owned by their respective owners. You may use the app for your personal planning, but you may not copy, resell, redistribute, or create a competing service from it without permission.
10. No warranties
Siegel Financial does not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for your specific financial situation. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or based on assumptions that do not fit you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siegel Financial and its creator are not liable for financial losses, lost profits, lost data, missed opportunities, investment outcomes, tax outcomes, or other damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app.
